Breakfast bites

Taking a slow morning today. Thank God it's Merdeka Day which is an off day for me - fortunately :) While others might be out marching in the hot sun celebrating our Independence, I'm taking my time today. Had my leisurely breakfast - my usual kopi o and chappati - and read the newspaper, from page to page! Since I usually gobble my breakfast down like a starving man at a buffet - barely digesting it I'm sure - that's definitely a nice change of pace. It's actually been a while since I've had such little luxuries.

Planning a small DVD fest this afternoon with a bunch of friends from work ( seriously, I need to expand my circle! ). Gonna watch the the entire second series of Nip/Tuck while nibbling on the tiramisu Preity Posh promised. Since she's a cook of some renown, we shall be in for a treat. Sigh! There goes my diet again!

Oooh... nothing like a nice, slow breakfast complete with strong coffee and fresh newspaper. Very uncle thing but I must admit I love it :P

Oh, and the thing about diet - it's 75% DIE.

at least you have brekkie. i used to have to rush in the mornings to get to school on time that i would skip that most important meal of the day. and now, years later, when i find that i do have time to eat in the mornings, i skip breakfast anyway because i had gotten so used to going without.

My diet comes and goes...more goes though. Ugh...I HATE the struggles!

Uncle breakfast, wee shiong :) I thought it was the usual. Hell, if I'm doomed to be an uncle, I hope it's a sexy uncle.

Sometimes I do without breakfast too, rafe but I usually try my best to at least down some cereal or oatmeal before I leave.

Hey Paul, Chill. You can just call it holida weight and think about something not great later. :-) But having a great breakfast is a good move, don't ya think? Happy holiday! (wow, I am envious!)

With my working night and my habit of woke up in the morning plus my erratic behavior all combine to results in my eating only one meal a day.

I tried my best not to eat anything when I am up late after midnight before going to bed. And I think that results in my keeping 32" waist ^^

Holiday weight? It's only one day, shigeki :)

Pete, one meal a day?! Hell, you must be slim as hell.

Having a proper breakfast is my holiday treat when I’m away from home. I love breakfast food. Otherwise, like sexy Unca Paul, I’m lucky if I can scarf a bowl of cereal while dashing to get ready for work. One of my cuter bosses actually eats his cereal in his office.

So who else came to the DVD fest? Yummy Yee? Handsome Hui? I can just imagine Hui dragging you off to another room to show you he’s wearing the new thong. :o)

isn't it ironic that you're watching nip/tuck while eating tiramisu? hope you had a nice merdeka day holiday.

A kinky dottore...mmMMmm. Lol.

Season 2's excellent! From what i could watch anyway, half of my dvds wouldn't work and the shop i bought em at closed down (figures)! I actually started sniffling during an episode which ok fine, is really easy for me to do. Still, Julian's his yummy hot self in it...

Btw, thanks for linking to me. however, nutang's actually my server. blog name would be theZEBRA.

Well, ru, Handsome Hui was there but I wouldn't know if he was wearing a thong. I still have his thong in a box at home. Thanks for reminding me.

Asmadi, ironic to take tiramisu with Nip/Tuck? Why?

Nice to see ya, james. :)

Mmmm kopi-o and chappati. I prefer roti canai myself but that's just me being picky.

These days I can't even be bothered to get out of bed for breakfast.

Too bad I am not 'slim as hell' ;) I guess I could live by that one meals because my activities were mostly consist of me sitting in front of the computer! I think that would change when I landed myself a man!
