Istanbul

Hot TarkanWhat can I say? I'm liking it here in Istanbul - despite the odd Turkish keyboard letterings that they have provided me in the Internet cafe. Bought loads of stuff that would have my brother staring agog, I'm sure. Think lamps, carpets, paintings etc. Guess I am gonna be kinda broke for a while.

Gotta add a note though. You guys were rıght. Turkish men are HOT!

lucky you!!! GRRR... I don't find Tarkan that hot though (but i like his cheesy music) ... but some men on the streets are absolute turkish delights.. hehe.. it's all that hair and exotic flair, and male chauvinism

Holiday boy! :o)

I must confess, Turkish carpets get me even more excited than Turkish guys.

Hope you're having a great time.

Maybe Mr. Right is waiting for you to look up from your keyboard and smile, say hi, and invite him to sit for coffee, Paul!

Have fun!

I barely remember things from before I was 30, but I still have Turkey on my list. Hoping you write all about it. I'm working on Australia/New Zealand for the New Year.

how ever are you going to bring everything back home? i suppose you can't roll everything up in one of the carpets that you've bought and check it in as carry-on luggage, can you?

shigeki, safe sex definitely!

chris, a big welcome to ya... and hey, it's autumn and the man needs to harvest.

canardbidon... tarkan not hot? Seriously? I like his music too actually.

ru, you're right.. I might be a lil more interested in the carpets than the men.. but it's only a fraction more.

Thanks, Drew!

Brian, looked around and saw only giggling girls around in the net cafe actually. Not my style :)

ash, seriously! Hot guys everywhere. I almost had whiplash turning about looking at them.

Michael... I can also write a thesis on the hotness factor of men in OZ. :) Yum.

Hi, klmuscle.. did all the above as you mentioned.. except for the cocktail.

kevin, tried to bring a Turk through Customs. Unfortunately I bought too many things - way above the max weight and I had to leave him behind.

aj, larry, james, kit.. having lotsa fun and I do have photos galore but none with hot guys onboard though.

laine, hi. Thanks for stumbling on by.

rafe.. believe me.. I lugged six teak panels across from bangkok. A few carpets from Turkey wasn't much of a problem for me :)

Had a great time there, Will. And thanks, Rebel!

Ali, thanks! Istanbul was a wonderful experience.
